The ABB PSR72-600-70 is part of ABB’s PSR soft-starter series—designed to provide a simple, reliable, and space-efficient solution for soft motor starting and stopping. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for tight control panels and modular motor-starter assemblies. Operating within a wide voltage range of 208 to 600 V AC, the PSR72-600-70 supports global industrial power systems at both 50 and 60 Hz. It uses 100–240 V AC (and in some variants 24 V AC/DC) control voltage, allowing flexibility in control system integration. The unit’s rated motor current of 72 A enables it to start motors up to 22 kW at 230 V, 37 kW at 400 V, and 45 kW at 500 V. Adjustable start ramp (1–20 s), stop ramp (0–20 s), and initial voltage settings help reduce mechanical stress, extending the life of the motor and connected equipment.
