The ABB PSR37-600-70 is a compact and efficient soft starter designed for small three-phase motors with a maximum operational current of 37 A and an operating voltage range of 208–600 V AC. It supports a control voltage of 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, providing flexible integration into various control systems.

The PSR37 features two-phase control for smooth motor start and stop using a voltage ramp, reducing mechanical stress and enhancing motor lifespan. A built-in bypass contactor ensures energy efficiency and minimizes wiring complexity. Configuration is straightforward, with three front-mounted potentiometers to easily set the start and stop ramp times.

It includes relay outputs for RUN and TOR signals (normally open) and is often paired with ABB manual motor starters (MMS) using optional mechanical connection kits. Additionally, Fieldbus communication is supported via external adapters and plugs.
