The MTN617444 belongs to Schneider Electric’s “System M” range of building-automation push-buttons designed for modern installations. This “4-gang plus” flush-mounted unit offers 8 activation points (function keys) — meaning up to four circuits (or more, via multifunction mapping) can be controlled through a single module. It integrates seamlessly with KNX bus systems, making it suitable for lighting control, dimming, roller-shutter/blind control, scene selection, and other smart-home automation tasks.

The device is built with high-quality plastic with a glossy white finish (RAL ~1013). It features LED-based local signaling (status/feedback), and a legend holder for labeling each button’s purpose. The push-button supports standard functions of KNX systems — switching, toggling, dimming (single or dual surface), blind/blind-control, pulse-edge telegrams (with 1-, 2-, 4- or 8-bit resolution, and distinctions between short and long presses), 8-bit linear regulation, scene recall/save, disabling functions, etc
