The Schneider Electric METSEPM5562MC is a panel-mount power meter engineered for comprehensive electrical energy measurement and power quality monitoring. It delivers high-accuracy Class 0.2S energy metering and measures key electrical parameters including voltage, current, frequency, active/reactive power, power factor, and harmonic distortion up to the 63rd order. The meter features a backlit LCD display with intuitive navigation and a large 1.1 MB onboard memory for logging measurements, events, and alarms.
Communication capabilities include dual Ethernet ports with Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP and BACnet/IP, plus serial RS-485 support — simplifying integration into SCADA, BMS, and energy information systems. It also supports an embedded web server for browser-based monitoring. Four digital inputs, two digital outputs, and 52 configurable alarms enable flexible control logic and WAGES-type monitoring. The RMICAN-sealed factory configuration ensures tamper-evident security, making this meter suitable for revenue, sub-billing, and compliance applications
